Well after some debate I decided to go ahead and do the non-navi to navi conversion btw I got the prices on all the parts from Scott of cushcars.com here is the breakdown of list of stuff thats needed for the conversion:

Navigation (39540-SEC-A01)<~~~~~~~~ These three things
H-VAC display unit (tv)<~~~~~~~~~~~~ with the arrows I
Navigation Dvd (39010-SDA-A41)<~~~~~got on ebay for $377 shipped.

Sub clock display unit (39710-SEC-A51)

$202.00

Sub wire, cable reel harness (behind airbag) (77901-SDA-A40)

$6.50

GPS antenna (39835-SEC-A01)

$88.00

Homelink buttons (navi edition includes a mic) (34404-SDA-A21)

$30.00

Switch assy., Navigation Guide (35890-SEC-A01)

$31.00

Case (3A) for switch assy (35891-SEC-A01)

$3.50

Plate switch set (78517-SDN-A81)

$4.00

2x Screw-washer (4X12) (93893-04012-07)

$0.50 each

2x Screw-washer (4X12 ) (93893-04012-17)

Can't wait to do this but probably won't be done till December since am low on funds when am done I will post on here. As well as the doing the dom dvd conversion as well. Wish me luck

Besides all the wiring, How did he do it so that it can detect other things, like Gas Level, and other things? Seems a bit fishy because there are no wires in the first place to connect to the new Navi unit on a non navi? Dont know, but eh, Just wondering.

Do you have the wiring harnesses?
I remember Flopez82 saying those cost a lot, so he did his own.

Also, remember to shield the wiring.

He said he ended up not doing it because the NAVI unit he ordered off of Ebay was broken and he was not able to get his money back. But no one has able been to replicate FLopez's non-navi to oem nav as far as I know ...hmmmmm

I got my money back just didn't want to try my luck again. Oh well maybe I might go aftermarket now.

Thats cool, Glad you got your $$$$ back. its way too risky, i think. Don't know, flopez just posted pics but It'd be nice if he we even more into detail instead of that old thread. anyways, I'm not getting the aftermarket cause it doesn't look as clean and I love the clean interior.
