if they go by the manual-oil change only
but alot of dealers change the filter also

 

depends on the year of your car but usually it is just for an oil change, tire rotation etc. Basic maintenance they want you to pay them to do that you can do yourself lol.

 

A is just Replacing the oil

The codes are as follows:

A = Replace engine oil

B = Replace engine oil and oil filter
Inspect front and rear brake wear
Check parking brake adjustment
Inspect the following items:
-All fluid levels and condition of fluids
-Brake hoses and lines (including ABS)
-Driveshaft boots
-Exhaust system
-Fuel lines and connections
-Suspension components
-Tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots

and in addition to either A or B showing, a number might also appear, or a couple numbers.
the meaning of these numbers is as follows:

1 = Rotate tires

2= Replace air cleaner element
Replace dust and pollen filter
Inspect drive belt

3 = Replace transmission fluid

4 = Replace spark plugs
Inspect valve clearance

5 = Replace engine coolant


and independent maintenance that does not show up on your MID that
also needs to be done is as follows:

Replace brake fluid every 3 years
Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000km)
Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2 ir 3 if they are noisy
