i have an 05 Premium White Navi 6spd it is in excellent condition inside out. my car is stock to the bone with the addition of OEM fog lights and CompuStar Alarm/Remote Start. i checked kbb.com and suggest private party is 26,685. well, i want to sell it as high as possible what do you think i should price it. the reason i ask because i want some opinions. i don't want to price it too high that people will laugh at it like those 10 years old hondas that are priced at over $6k. thanks guys...

The real retail price is what someone would buy it for...
Really, 26k is pretty high as i just bought my 06 for invoice. If you want to sell it it needs to be well below the dealers. I hate to say it but for some reason people feel better about buying for a dealer even though we know the "As Is" B.S.
I'd say advertise at 23-24 and be willing to take 20-22k would probably fit but I'm just guessing. Remember, your deal needs to look way better then what people can find on auto trader or in the paper. Of course it depends on how fast you want to sell it...

oh sorry forgot about the miles; roughly 17,000. well, i'm getting tired to making car payments. right now i have a 95 honda accord sitting around, so i think i'm just gonna drive that instead of selling it. i know you guys would say just sell the accord and keep the tsx, but i've been through ten cars in the last 7 years and i don't care what i drive anymore, i just want to save some money. i know i'm crazy for going through so many cars, but what can i say, I LOVE CARS. oh yeah, if i'm gonna have to sell it for 20-22k i rather keep it then selling.
If i'm keeping it, i'm gonna get a spoiler just like i intended.

Price it at 26K and let people offer you down (say: "Below Bluebook value!) You've seen how people on this board poop themselves over 6MT Navis. There is certainly a demand for them. How many miles?

IMO, you'll never get $26k for a used TSX with 17,000 miles on it. Not to smash your hopes or anything, but I wouldn't price it over $24k.
To put it in perspective, I bought my one year old certified used '04 with 16,000 miles on it for $23,500 with the CPO warranty, from a dealer.
Good luck selling it if that's what you want to do, but I think you should keep it and sell the older car. If you keep this one, you'll have it for many more years and can save money after it's paid off. Your '95 Accord is already 11 years old and it won't be all that long before you want/need a newer car. Might as well suck it up and keep the TSX.

Keep the TSX, sell the 95 Accord. The 95 Accord has done it's duty and it's time to sell it and move on. You only live once, might as well enjoy the car you drive too!

I ended up selling my 05 Blk/Blk Auto Navi (19k miles) for $23,800 in New Jersey to give you an idea. Noone will give you in the 26's for this car, as you can buy one new for that price. Also, the 05's are even less desirable given the changes made to the 06 model. You also may have a tough time selling it due to the stick. I recommend just putting the car on e-bay, even if you don't sell it you will get tons of good leads, which may result in an eventual sale. I would not waste my time with other websites such as autotrader or cars.com. Good luck with your sale.
