u just need to install clear bra.. its a paint protection film made by 3M, will cover the most vulnerable areas on your car, and will not harm your car's paint at all.. here is the explanation http://xpel.com/products/paint.asp... if u want to fix scratches, use scratch removal product like meguairs scratchX.

Some guys on another car forum swear by it. I'm going to try it on my beater next time I go on a long distance road trip.

Does Acura ever carry touch-up pen for TSX for sale? Mazda gave me one when i purchased my Mazda 3. Anyone know where can i get one? I found some scratches on my TSX as well.

Just about everything on that particular page is either Factory OEM or after-market compatible with the TSX. I think once you add the item to your shopping cart it will list the exact part number and description.

i went to my local dealership in dallas and they fixed a scratch with a new touchup pen with paint on one end of the pen and clear coat on the other. its amazing. i love this dealership. the pen is a prototype for future use. and also they fixed the vibration in my door panel by finding the real problem which was in the area that contained the window buttons. most other dealerships just put foam in the doorpanel. i am 100% satisfied with this dealership. sorry for beign so offtopic and the badspelling. im rushed because of dinner.

Can you get the clearbra at a dealer? How much?
I saw a black bmw with a clearcoat and it seems really visible; you can see exactly where the clearbra starts/ends. Is our clearbra the same thing? It's made from urethane, so wouldn't it be acidic and melt through the paint?

check out what CCColtsicehockey did in the past on longer trips. I found these pics but there was another set from a meet, with his carbon hood- but you get the idea. ...good ol blue tape

BTW I have a clear bra on my 06 ever since day one off the lot. I think it was around $450 for hood bumper hdlights. I will clear bra every car I buy in the future. I commute a lot. I have one stone chip after 8k miles and that is where the clear bra isn't!

it's a freaking car. Sooner or later you'll get it chipped or worse get in a wreck. Drive it like any other car and stop worrying about the scratches. This car isn't a Ferrari for god's sake.

why don't u go for a trip on I80 from NJ to Michigan and say that ? ^ ^
i had my Mercedes doing NJ -> MI trip this past May.
i had a brand new painted +coated EMT plate that attaches to the license plate.
Look what happened after the trip.

i had I-80 running on construction almost half of the trip.
half the traffic being all trucks,
this is what you get.
and that's why i need to secure the new paint on my 06 TSX
