Has anyone tried out this phone to see if it is compatible with the bluetooth feature on the 06 TSX? It is a new phone that Cingular is offering but there is no data on Acura's website to indicate that they are even in the testing mode as yet.

 

Well its a very similar model to T-mobiles Samsung T809 so check for that model..

 

You can submit a phone for testing on Acura's website. I just submitted the new Sanyo Katana yesterday myself.

 

The t809 isn't on there either, but it works. The D807 should work too.

 

ANY phone that supports handsfree profiles (not headsets) will work with HFL. You can check out this information on a phone-by-phone basis on sites like phonescoop.com for more reliable information.

Acura doesn't certify so many phone because not all share the battery life and signal strength indicators with the car, and they want full interoperability (not to mention the costs of testing and time). But as long as the phone works, picks up, and sends calls, I call it working.
