I received a short but snooty email from their Internet Sales Representative after asking for a quote. Basically, he declined my business. I originally wanted to get an idea of what he could offer considering what I've seen on this website and others. Not even a single counter-offer. I've gone up to that neighborhood to shop for BMW's on behalf of my mother and Honda's on behalf of my father, and I've noticed a pattern of pervading condescension at all three different dealers. Screw'em. I'm going to Curry in Scarsdale.

 

I'm sorry you got a bad response. I just bought my (NHBP 6spd Nav) TSX from Greenwich Acura and was really happy with their service. I ordered it Tuesday and by Saturday it was ready. Speak to either JD or AL; My friend and I got our cars from them. Don't go to Paragon Acura in Long Island City . They give you the run around and are too pushy to get u to buy something you don't want.

 

Hey. Thanks for your response. I had a funny feeling without even responding to Paragon that I wouldn't like their service. Too much junk mail to say the least. "JD" or "AL?" If you don't mind, could you post your purchase price either here or privately. I couldn't get much more than a straight MSRP quote from Greenwich.


As an aside, I parked by a grey/black tsx last night and I couldn't help thinking... so close but not mine.

 

Hey I understand how you feel. Everytime I use to drive next to one I would be like ahhhhhhhh man. I paid 27,712 for a black TSX, manual with Nav; with Tax it came up to like 29,800. My friend wanted Artic blue, but he would have to wait a month, so he got the Satin Silver instead. If you think about waiting for the 2005, don't bother. It's the same car, with just more accessories and color combinations. Every rep i spoke to told me the same thing.

 

I actually got a good price from Acura of Manhattan without any haggling at all. When I called them on the phone asking about the TSX, they immediately quoted me $27599 for auto with navi (which includes destination). With tax and title, it was just under $29000 out-the-door. I'm in Jersey, so tax is less for me than for a NY resident.

Try giving them a call.

 

I'd call corporate and find an e-mail address you can forward it to.

 

Let me tell you something....don't bother trying to find good deal in Fairfield County. They are NOT willing to deal. They don't have to....This area (Greenwich, ya kidding me ??) is just TOO AFFLUENT.
25 miles away in Norwalk, Devan Acura acted the same way....totally unflexible. When I made an offer that was HIGHER than what I actually paid LATER at ManHattan Acura, the sales asshole looked me like I was crazy.

You misunderstood. Quite the opposite - I think generally rich people are actually more intelligent than average people - They just don't care about $500 as much as the average Joe. They want *** convenience *** and the "hand-holding" feeling of dealing with local dealer.

 

And a lot of people think that they can only get their cars serviced at the dealers they buy them at.

 

try acura of westchester in Larchmont, nice people there, done buisness there a few times, and I think a hot piece of ass works there as a sales lady!

 

Bet she nailed many a suckers with that booty

Good Luck w/ Greenwich Acura - I live in stamford and had to deal with them when I bought my used AV6 and they were a bunch of assholes to me trying to scam me into paying the same price as a New AV6. I didn't end up buying the car from them and a month later the sales guy calls me appoligizing asking if i was still intrested in dealing with them. make a long story short I bought the same car with less miles for 3 grand less then they wanted in mint condition
