OK, here's the deal, i picked up the "Interior Illumination Kit" ($92) for the 2006 Civic and looking to wire it on my TSX. Here's the problem I have:
1) I want it to light up when the Dome Light is on (opening the doors)
AND
2) I want it to light up when the Dash/Illumination/Parking Light is on.
Is there someway to accomplish this?

um...thats a bit complicated...why dont u try attaching it to the dome light power, i forget which one but theres a wire you can tap into, then wire a three way switch (search for DIY puddle lights, the poster of that thread installed a switch for his pud lights).

i didnt know something rudimentary like this is so hard to implement. there's got to be an OR switch or something at radio shack, don't you think?
if not then i'll probably wire it to the dome lights since that's when you would need it (when you get into the car)

should be soldered on to the anode about at least 3mm away from the creased
area of the contacts.

Just remember to shave the tip of the LED so that it's flat and disperse the light rather than having that spotlight-like output
