Wow, that's pretty cool. Why didn't Honda make this engine have the peak power at higher rpm since it's got such potential.

it peaks earlier, but it pulls all the way up to 7400. My dyno had it the power still rising even after redline

Because at 7400rpm, the TSX engine has higher piston speeds than a F20C S2000. This is because of the very long 99mm stroke the engine has. If you added more revs, very quickly you would end up with an unreliable engine.
