Resetting Maint Req'd Light

I went by the book on this one and the light is still blinking for 10 seconds after i hold the reset for 10 seconds. Any help would be appreciated

Edit: did you make sure your headlights are off?

I wonder if this is another one of those where the reset procedure does not work.

Thanks for the tip on shutting the lights off, didnt think that would cause a problem
