Replacement TSX Floor Mats

While searching for sources of replacement floor mats, I came across this site on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACURA...spagenameZWDVW

Prices seem pretty good, but obviously the mats are not OEM. I'm wondering whether anyone here has ever dealt with this outfit, and whether you were satisfied.

Thanks.

i picked up a spare OEM used set on ebay for $12 plus 8 shipping. not bad deal, keeps the original ones like new (tan) and got the 2nd set in black for a neat contrast with the parchment interior.

Exactly what I want to do -- I want a black set for the parchment interior. Then I may go for the wood trim kit.

What exactly are the "all-seasons"? Are they those rubberized mats for winter, or something else?

I don't feel that I need the rubberized winter mats where I live, but I'm interested in hearing whether you mean something else.

Yeah the all season floor mats are the rubberized mats. Like these ebay all seasons

I just put my factory mats in the closet and got those. They catch 95% of all dirt and spills etc. When I clean my car, all I do is take them out, rinse them off, wipe them down and put them back in the car. No vacuuming needed for the mats and only a tiny bit of vacuuming in the car itself.

I'm curious too. The auction claims they use better materials than OEM, but I wonder if that's really true. The OEM mats that came with the TSX really are cheap carpet quality wise -- even compared to the OEM mats that I had in my 1995 Civic.

I liked the factory mats' look better, but decided to get all seasons. I didn't realize that my floor mats collected alot of dust/dirt quickly (original ones hide it). Now it's easier to clean

I've had my car a month, & the driver's side floor mat is already showing wear. It's disappointing, because I like the look & feel of the carpet. Especially if I'm wearing high heels or loose sandals that are hard to clutch in - I usually kick off my shoes to drive. Dirt on rubber just doesn't feel as nice as carpet. Unfortunately, I'll probably break down & get the all-season mats when these start to look too shoddy.

do you have black or parchment? the parchment all seasons are tough to keep clean, but i admit, i've beena bit lazy. wondering what would be good to get the dirt out.

I have the black ones but thats no different from cleaning parchment carpet vs black carpet...parchment is going to be little more work either way I'd imagine just less vacuuming and no carpet to wear out with the all seasons. Maybe someone has a tip as how to get them nice and clean.

i have the all seasons, the parchment all seasons get dirty also, and the dirt doesnt just wipe off as easily as i thought it would. better than dirty carpet though.

I replaced a set of factory parchment carpet mats with a set of gray carpet mats. Figured they wouldn't show the dirt as much as the tan ones. If I had to do it again, I'd probably go for the black ones, since it would be a better match with dash.

good find.. for $35 it is not a bad idea to get these replacement mats for everyday use, and throw in the oem mats when you sell the car

Yea, they may not feel the same as you mentioned. But the all season mats are made of a soft rubber, not hard and stiff. So they are kinda cushy.

Just vaccum and wash with soap and water. You may want to use a soft bristle brush to get the tough dirty.

Maybe I haven't looked at OEM ones close enough (or seen a good pic of them in the car), but I just think all-season mats would look somewhat out of place in a luxury car like this one.

I guess it depends on your definition of the car. In my opinion, the car isn't top notch luxury but is definitely nice enough to be called that by some. However, with the all weather mats in my car, I do not think it detracts from the high quality appeal of the rest of the car.

i disagree. have them throw them in for you to see if you want to see first, but they fit so nicely and keep the carpet so clean. i hate seeing a dirt carpet, so this actually looks more luxurious to me.

shampooing the carpet frequently would be time consuming and costly. these all season mats belong in ANY car.

OK. After much discussion here, I'm convinced. I want the OEM all-season floor mats. Now I need to decide where to buy them.

Has anyone purchased anything from Westchester Acura (online)? They've got the mats for $89.99 + $12 shipping. Is that a good price and are they a reputable vendor? (I don't have the patience to put in a low bid on Ebay and cross my fingers....)

If anyone knows of a better price, I'd be interested.

Thanks!
