reatarded question i know but...

this guy is selling parts from his car since its completely wrecked and unsalvagable so hes just parting it out. my question is this: i want to buy a seat belt buckle (just the buckle, not the strap) so i wont have to hear that annoying ass beep come on every 20 sec..so, are seat belts pretty universal in size/shape? hes got a '97 CL..i dont have to worry about the buckle not snapping into the holder do i? again, sorry for being a retard but i dont want to get it and have it not fit. thanks

Yea I agree a little more than 100%. Put on your seatbelt and your car will stop beeping at you. Pretend that the beep is your car telling you to put on your seatbelt. Oh wait, you don't have to pretend.

His car is completely wrecked and you want to use its parts to circumvent your own car's safety system. Is that IRONY I smell?

Wait a second guys, he's got some nices pieces on that '05 and a relatively surviable crash without a seatbelt will likely make him either a non-driver or a organ doner. How about we start working on him willing the parts of his car out when the inevitable happens...

How about it deadly, can I have the A-SPEC parts?

This is wisdom from a 20 year old, so I find it disappointing that he doesn't see the folly (and yes, certainly the irony) in this question (thread?). I'd expect better from a member of that generation. And I suppose to some degree he's right. But..... this is a forum where anyone can participate. If you put it out there, don't be surprised if you get comments when you say or ask something controversial (or stupid!). Especially when it's a potential hot button issue, which I'd assume this may be (unfortunately). I work in public safety and see the results of not wearing a seat belt too often. I guess I can't help but add my two cents.

I'm surprised to hear that there are still people that drive without their seatbelt. Aren't they all comfortable?
