The reason for delivery delays is...
I called my dealer today to see if our TSX was delivered. It was scheduled to be delivered today but won't be delivered until tomorrow. Initially we were promised delivery at the end of November. Our salesperson said the reason for the delays in delivering TSXs is due to the RL. According to him, Acura wants the RL to have priority at the delivery terminals in terms of man hours, at the TSX's and RXS's expense. This is to ensure they arrive at dealerships without any problems.

It only makes sense for a business to deliver products to customers with the greatest bargaining power, when faced with resource constraints. Acura has more to lose with a customer who purchases an RL, rather than a TSX.
In a perfect world, of course, with a fat supply chain, I'm sure we'd all get our TSX' on-time and on-pace with RL owners. It's just a numbers game. And it all comes down to doing business.
I had to wait for my TSX, but boy, it was worth the wait!
