Rear Deck Speakers in the TSX

So the rear deck 6x9's in the TSX sound decent for bass output which is basically what they are supposed to do, but I wanted some more thump and with a baby and needing a tote around a stroller I just didn't have room for my Type R, box, and amp. So instead I replaced the Pioneer 6x9's that the TSX comes with for some Infinity Kappa 692.7i's. Let me be the first to say these are AWESOME! They have a great bass output, similar to what a 10" sub or two 10's sound like! Install was relatively easy, Crutchfield.com supplied a harness adapter for the rear deck which is plug and play and i had to slightly modify the ends coming out of it for use with the crossovers that the infinity's come with. The I had to drill two extra holes in the speaker mounts to screw into the car. That is quite easy, just drill through the stock hole on the car straight through. All in all installation took about 45 minutes and the reward is great! I would reccomend this to anyone who wants more bass but doesn't want to sacrifice trunk space!
