i replaced my rears at about 62k miles.

my fronts are still ok because the dealer gave me new pads and did an on-car brake lathe job per TSB at 20k miles... in honolulu traffic, i try to coast as much as i can and look way ahead to anticipate slowdowns/stops (habit from riding motorcycles). that really minimizes any slamming on the brakes. most of the time, its a light touch to come to a stop...

i would examine ya'lls braking habits honestly. many people don't look ahead and have to slam their brakes in stop/go traffic...
