I was trying to find out if there was a hole behing the Acura logo in the trunk. I have a plan to get it "blacked out" and its going to take a couple of days to do. I wanted to know if I am going to be sporting a little hole back there. If anyone knows please post... thanks!

Noticed how some manufacturers have started to make their emblems "sunken" onto the trunklids? Instead of just slapping some metal prongs through the body piece and adhering some glue, they're actually sinking the emblem into the panel (like stamping concrete). I wonder if they're doing this so people can't remove the center logo?

which acura logo? the words "acura" and "tsx" do no have holes behind the,

but the (A) symbol does.

i took off the "acura" and "tsx", and so did many of the members here

you never know. how funny would it be if he thought it was the a emblem, and he pulled it off to see two holes.

you guys are right it is the (A) logo. I am not sure about the de-badge thing. I think the Acura and TSX wording looks really good back there. My origional idea was to get them done in that black chrome "smoked" look.

After reading this thread I am wondering if it would be possible to remove that (A) and leave the spot blank... I guess I would just have to find something to plug the holes. Any ideas?

you can get it filled in at a body shop. this is commonly known as shaving.
