You must be excited hahaha, I'm gonna tell you, I was at the time rofl. Seeing your 15, im not sure its gonna excite you in terms of speed (rofl im in ur age group). A 325i would give you a much faster 0-60 time, but this car is great for the interior, so it might not be the fastest car, but chicks dig it . Plus you get a professionality point when you drive a TSX, and wear some business clothing xDDD.

Ipod cable not provided, i think aspec shocks > spoiler, go tint the windows.

Congrats and welcome to Azine. I think you will find most ppl will tell you that the 0-60 time is in the 7's (mid to high) and car mags all have different times. The car isnt what I would call fast, but its not bad, is balanced quite well, and is a pleasure to drive. Did you buy a AT or MT,.......the MT is obviously a bit faster. You might want to try doing a seach using the search function to read up on stuff like that .

I don't think the 325i is much faster than the TSX... the 325i is way overated in terms of speed. That thing shines in terms of handling but the TSX is not far off for a FWD car, either...

15 and a TSX... very nice. Do you even have a permit/liscense yet?

Well *this is at least in the Cali*, but i wouldnt drive around alone if i were you o.O until you get your license. If you get caught, you could get ur lic suspended until like 21, which sucks ass. My friend(back then he only had his permit) does webdesign, and hit a lightpole attempting to drift his SELF BOUGHT 325i. He had his license suspended till 21 for not having a parent + reckless driving. It sucks when you have your own money, enough to buy a car, but am not able to drive it. Its a pity, really.
Just don't think you'll be like my friends (2 of them) who blasted past a POLICE CAMARO at 130 MPH. The cop tried to get both of em, and ended up /w none of them.

Comparing the speed to some of my friend's cars, the TSX doesn't compare at all haha. Some of those Evos, G35's, and M3's are just insane. Evos with half their inventory stage 3, G35's weight reduced and TWIN turbocharged(they said buy one get one free deal), M3's just... M3's. Its already crazy as hell in high school haha(Big Bear runs in under 5 mins), and I think it'll get crazier for college =.=.

Not saying anything bad about the TSX, in fact, i love this sexy thang to death.

Pros
-Great MPG
-Better Insurance Rates than Other Cars
-Very Professional Looking
-LOTS of Interior Goodies
-CHICKS DIG THIS CAR!!!!

Cons
-Bit Slow
-Not as many mods

I love how the pros outweight my cons, it totally reaffirms my decision making ^___^

ummmm, how did a 16 year old "SELF BUY" a 325? he had to get the money from mommy and daddy somehow. allowance is not considered earning your own wages.

not sure what your friends were in, but if they went by a cop in the police configured camaro, at least in ny state, there's no way they got away.

This guy was like a total nerd man. He made websites /w this website design company for these huge companies. He'd charge about 2k-5k depending on complexity of website plus a couple hundred to a few thousand depending on what kind of website it was(maintainance). He was makin some serious cash back then, and it sucks to lose your license like that........ I think hes in USC like sophomore already while im stuck here as a high school senior =.=. O well at least I get the fun of becoming a senior

My friend was in a twin turbo'ed G35, and his friend I dunno haha. Basically they had no idea the car was a cop because it was the 5 freeway @night /w like noone on it, and the place was totally black. They sped past the cop at 130. The cop's reaction time + the 0-60 time on the camaro would've put him about at least half a mile behind. My friend slowed down cuz he was scared he was gonna be in deep crap, but his friend sped away. The cop tried to get both of them (him and his friend), and ended up losing his friend, while my friend sped away because the cop was chasing his friend. LOL lesson learned- get the guy whos voluntarily slowing down ahaha.

zactly... even here in s'toon those suckers are FAST! You'd have to be driving a viper or something to get away from a cop in those beasts.

But yah, don't drive alone. It's the toss up of having to wait X-weeks to waiting X-years for a license!

Lesson to learn is not to race on the highway!

Most of us have all done it, I did it many times in my Civic CVCC, but I had a friend that killed someone and trust me, you don't want to go through that.

A bad decision to race can have dire consequences.

I know my advice will likely fall on deaf ears, but I would be wrong not to say something.

I agree with excited.
I have been in 2 highway accidents and they are not fun.
In addition i too know someone who killed someone due to reckless driving. i would never want that resting on my conscience.

I never care for speed,
"my car can go 0-60mph in 5secs, i can in 5.2, i can in 6.2" big fukin deal.
what is important in a car is saftey features, handling, reliability, fun gadety feautres (for me atleast) and comfort.

drive safe and enjoy your ride.

i certainly agree with excited. it's happened multiple times in my area because there are a few roads that are very good for racing. mustang svt cobra wrapped itself around a tree near my house, no survivors (3 people in the car). another guy, i forget the car, but he was flying on this one straight stretch, lost control of the car....hit a pole....was going so fast that his car went straight up the pole for about 15 feet, the pole snapped, and he ended up landing on 4 or 5 cars.....

the dealership is set up off the road by a 10-15 foot wall....so he climbed the pole high enough to jump that wall as well as land on the cars.

the cars he landed on were a couple dodge vipers and 2 mini coopers. i really wish i could remember what kind of car he was in, i'll have to ask my dad later.

another guy in PA a few years ago got caught by a cop, only because the guy stopped. it was the fastest a person has been clocked by the PA State Police. He was in a lamborghini diablo doing 184 mph on i-80 in central PA. if anyone has ever been on I-80, they'd know that it's insane to even go over 80 on this road.

now that i heard the story, that the cop was pulling someone else over, it makes sense, the camero's made for the ny state police are frikkin fast, i think they have the corvette engine in them.
