rather have a TL

i dont know i guess its just me but i would much rather have a 2004 TL, the price for the TSX is kinda overpriced.
270HP V-6 much classyer styling inside and out for an extra 5 grand,, if you can afford 27,000$ for a TSX you can afford another 5 grand for a TL only thing and the ONLY thing that i like better on the TSX then the TL is the steering wheel.

future car... 2004 black TL Tinted windows-18inch wheels-rear,side,front underbody kits

i can prob. pick one up for 3,000 off the MSRP when the 05's come out.

Thats great. Thats for stopping by to share that with us.

But some of us prefer the smaller more nimble size and better handling of the TSX. OH, and 5gs is alot of money to some people.

Classier styling? The 2 look almost identicle.

thats just fine that you like your nimble small TSX, but ill try to slow down my BIG V6 270HP TL when i pass your i-4 tsx so i dont blow you off into the shoulder, same styling???
take a look at the back your TSX's bumper is the size of a boat or something the front looks like something from the honda mini van The TL's front looks alot more aggresive and plus the back looks a million times better with LED's and the LED brake light other then the civic looking brake light. so there take thatand shove it.

ya the rear lights are different. and the TL has the ugly scar down the side. But the front and side profile are almost exactly the same.

And ya you will win in a strtaight line and smoke me, but I will smoke you in the corners, plus save 5 gs doing it.

But i'm not bashing the TL, its a great car .. and probably better than the TSX for alot if not most ppl. BUt its more expensive so why compare? It SHOULD be faster.

Looks are subjective. To me and alot od other people around here the TSX looks better than the TL inside and out.

Buy hey, if if the TL looks better to you and you can afford the extra 5K then get the TL. Just don't expect to come to a TSX site and get away with somewhat bashing the TSX.

no im not bashing the TSX i like the car i just think its a little overpriced and that your only 5 grand away from acuras premier TL. with the all mods you all put on your TSX you can afford the 5 grand so thats no excuse and the TL handles just as fine as the TSX. the tsx will handle a tad better cuz its smaller but not enough to pull ahead of the TL

imagine a black TL with the full body kit and slappin on 18's or 19's and sit it beside a fully modded up TSX,,

This is why the make chocolate and vanilla ice cream ...

triple - glad you are sure what you want Sounds like you enjoy the bigger car and the extra money is worth it for you. Cool.

FYI - The difference is really more like $7K ... I am have a screened in porch and new composite decking putting down for that. That is some serious coin.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. When the TL first came out I was regretting getting the TSX. But after learing more about the TL I know I made the right decesion. Not that there's anything wrong with the TL, but the TSX just suits me far better.

Better on gas, better handler, far cheaper, nicer styling in and out (IMO), better build quality, and Int materials (after sitting in both) and a smaller size. I don't need the extra 70 Horses and tourque as its a daily driver so the TL would have been overkill.

But to each his/her own.

I don't think the TSX is overpriced at all. They're both great cars with great bang for the buck. I was intent on buying a TL, but bought the TSX instead for the same reasons already mentioned in this thread by others. And I saved 10K CDN in the process

Buying a house is a waste of $$$?

And where is the money you're paying in rent going every month? It vaporizes into thin air! That's where it's going. Buying a house is one of the best investments anyone can make. Two words: equity and appreciation. Buying a more expensive car on the fringe of what you can afford is a liability. As soon as you drive it off the dealer's lot, you've already taken a huge hit.

If you think renting over buying a house is a wise decision just so a person can afford a better car is good idea, then I fear for your financial future. I wish you good luck with your TL and rent. Seems like you're going to need it.

As for the TL, it's a nice car. Personally, I like the handling of the TSX better and it's plenty comfortable of a car without sacrificing the sporty feel. I travel long distances and commute with it and that's the reason I got it. Believe it or not, some people actually buy cars because they like it... and it doesn't have to be a money issue.

Well, looks may Dan may be right. Looks like another AOL IP as the first 6 digits of triplefudges and TSEAN, GOSPEEED's IP's are identical.

One more comment and he'll need yet another username.

TL - Made by Honda of America Acura Division. Using 100% US parts and assembled in US.
TSX - Made by Honda of Japan, Using 100% Japan parts and assembled in Japan, Saitama I guess..

According to his logic if the TSX is overpriced, the IS300, 3 Series A4 and C Class, must be an incredible waste of money, because those are thier companies respected "TSX" and if they are 3-5gs more then a tsx they are too expenseive...i guess thats correct by fudges logic.

And if he can afford the xtra cheese for a TL why stop there, just keep going maybe a nice m3 or m5, or a ferrari i mean whats an extra 120g's thats nothing. haha

Honda of America Manufacturing is based in Marysville, Ohio. Therefore, they also make reliable cars in Ohio too.

I'd rather have my "Japanese car" 100% Japanese same as I'd like my German brand 100% German rather than S. Africa, S. Carolinian...just frigging anal about this...
