I'm sure some of you have searched "Acura TSX" on Ebay. What do you guys think about all of the random parts? With such a new car model, it doesn't seem like these parts would be all over Ebay. I'm not talking about the occasional car cover, floor mats, whatever - but a TSX head unit, front seats, sunroof glass, rear view mirror, center console, etc. Also, a lot of the auctions list only "1 mile on the car." Does this seem legit? Are there stolen TSX parts on Ebay? What do you think?

There's an awful lot of dust in those vents for a car that only has 2 miles on it. Also, what's up with the no anti-theft codes? Something's fishy there.

Edit: nevermind about the unlock codes, I just read the auction...

 

I'm thinking some of those parts might be off the train load of wrecked cars.

 

those parts are actually very ligit

LKQ SALVAGE yards are very big and well known

they provide alot of used oem parts

the theft codes are not given to you but they give you all the necessary paper work to obtain the codes

i have personally bought a navi system from them which im in the process of installing and they seem str8

for them

 

That was my first thought as well. Where else could you find parts with such low mileage.

 

I know of a few cases of people running to get hold of one of the engines in those cars to do swaps with them.

 

That'd be the best use for them since Honda would have to total out those cars anyway.
