Lightbulb Radar Wire Pass-through

I am trying to install a radar detector in the center of the windshield at the junction of the dashboard and the lower windshielf.

I have already added the cables I need to the fusebox via the Add-a-Circuit procedure.

I was wondering where I can pass the cable through behind the steering column somewhere or behind the radio or elsewhere in order to get in between the windshield and the dash.

I have searched and searched the forums, but all i get is where to tap power from or where people have their radars detectors installed.

Thanks

Just a word of advice - I would mount the radar detector higher than dashboard-height. This will enhance it's range significantly, especially in areas with alot of hills. I have my Valentine 1 mounted just above and to the left of my rear view mirror. This placement will also allow a much cleaner hard-wire install as you can run the wire along the headboard, down the A-pillar, and directly into the fusebox.

try Invisicord, they have cables designed for the TSX you hook it to the rearview
mirror power plug, don't need to mess with the pillars. Bought one for my Escort
X50 and it is PERFECT..
