Radar bands used by the LEOs in your area?
Just want to let all the TN TSX owners know...
So far, I've detected usage by State Troopers/Highway Patrols firing off the following bands of radar: X, K, Ka, Pop.
Pop was supposed to be rare, but I got "PoPed" today by a Highway Patrol, however, I was only going the posted limit of 55 at the time
Haven't experienced lasers yet. Any Tennessee owners know if laser is used here?

From what I've researched, you'll need a laser jammer and it might be worth your investment as they are at least $700+ new and plus installation if you're not mechanically inclined.
A radar detector, no matter how good will not save your butt. Once you're tagged, due to their concentrated light beam, you're toast.
Escort sells the jammers... www.escortradar.com.
Personally, they're too expensive for my taste and I've yet to encounter lasers here in TN so not worth it for me.

cestmoi, thanks for the link on the escort jammer.
Here's another for others to read comparing the unit to other jammers.

Mount it low to your windshield, remove your front plate and watch for cops and you will have more than enough time to slow down before clocked. Radar will get you far longer than laser.
