TSX $28,000
wood trim $480
wood leather wheel $579
rear spoiler $759

This is what I was quoted for my car....definitely not liking the price. I wanted to pay $28k for everything, navi, spoiler and wood kit (dont want the wood/leather wheel anymore). what do you think? i've never bought a car before, looking for advice. I'm in the Northern Virginia area and dealing with the Pohanka Acura dealer...feel like I'm getting screwed by the internet manager, considering the MSRP on the accessories I want are all about $200 less according to acura.com. Any advice??

IMO try to get your best price on the TSX itself, and forget about the extras. You can buy them for a ton cheaper and install them as it is not hard to do the trim I believe.

And that spoiler price is outrageous, you can get all of the rest of the kit for that much. I think the lip spoiler everyone has been getting is much nicer the TSX as well

Pohanka

I just bought a TSX from pohanka and they will come down. I walked away and then called a week later and they dropped another K down. I bought TSX with nav with 10K for 24,5. Good luck.

WAAAAAY too much money for this non-functional spoiler! Talk them down, or buy somewhere else. For example, Hondacuraworld has them for $466.70 (free shipping). Even adding a labor charge (assuming you don't want to do it yourself), you're still getting a better price.

You know there's like 13 Acura dealers in the DC area, right? Shop around! Make them compete against each other for your sale. Good luck.

Sus, did they have the one you bought on the lot when you where there?

I am looking to get a Blue TSX Auto w/Navi and spoiler and live in Montgomery County, and so far my dad is not happy with the price we were quoted over here(he is in charge, it is a graduation present - yay for in state tuition for college).

Nope

They didn't have it on the lot. I had to wait about a week and a half for it. Yeah I wouldn't buy in Montgomery County, I talked to a guy named Steve at the dealership in Rockville, total a--hole.

have you tried Edmunds to calculate some of the pricing?

They have a pretty good system in telling you what people have been paying for the vehicle with certain options in your region.

Junkster, who thinks the regional pricing is going down here in CO

Wow I find this totally funny. He is actually my/my dad's contact at the Gaithersburg one and my dad has already gotten a 99 CL and a 2004 TL from him there, even after my dad he tried to get better pricing elsewhere.
