Questions about my 2006
I have a 2006 nav with about 12,000 (I do not drive much) miles and have been thinking about selling and getting something different in the next year or so. I just read about the 2009, I like the technology in it, though not so much the looks of it.
1. Do you guys think the value of the older models such as mine will drop significantly when the new body styles come out?
2. Edmunds indicates it is worth $22,754 for private party. Anyone have any idea how realistic that is? I am in the LA area.
Thanks!

it's a car-drive it
according to the opinions I have been reading it looks like the 09 is not well liked. If that is true then I do not see the value dropping way down but it will go down. It will depend on the demand when you try to sell it. I love my 06 6MT w/nav but I drive alot more than you do. Mine has almost 40,000 miles, bought new 11/17/06.

Let me help you!
lol, I just checked KBB's price for my 06 with 13.5k miles...it's close to yours (i'm in so. cali).
Older cars always decrease in value the older they get. With a new year model coming out, it'll drop (unless if the general public thinks the new model is so super ugly, they'll want to try and snatch an 04-08 model). Honda/Acura cars do not drop significantly...they hold their value quite well. If you had a ford, it'd probably be alot less (I tried running an 06 ford taurus query on kbb.com...wow, that's a pretty big depreciation).
Look in your local ads for TSX's and see what other people are selling their TSX's for. Get an average, and you'll see what you probably can get.

for EVER more!
FWTW the 2006 Acura TSX had the second most favorable depreciation rate of vehicles sold in the US at the mass market level (#1 was a Porsche I believe) - according to WSJ.
