Question:Why does gas pedal get stiff?

I's weird gas pedal has got stiff. When it was brand new, the pedal was very smooth and light.
Is it something with ECU? and ECU controls the throttle pedal rate and position?
I get really notchy when tip on the gas pedal on driveways or parking lot. My sister felt the same thing. The warm weather helps little bit but still stiffer than new. Is it supposed be lighter and smoother as I break in the car?
Is it adjustable?

I'm coming up on 6k and it drives the same that it did the day i bought it..

However the TSX does have a 'drive by wire' system where your physical gas pedal has no mechanical link directly to your throttle. Unless somebody else has more info I would have it looked at.

I'm at 12k, and it feels the same way as the first day I drove it. It must be the AT TSX's

Are there any HOT cars nearby?

Check for anything physically obstructing the pedal movement (e.g. carpet, a rock, etc.).

i'd check out your throttle body. probably needs cleaning for one reason or another.

dealerships usually charge 60-80, but if your car is relatively new, it's worth complaining.
