OK..just got my 08 TSX Navi.. now, I haven't looked in the
rear dvdrom that's mounted in the trunk..but should there
be 2 discs? one covering Canada and the north USA and the
2nd covering the south portion of the USA?

I think they forgot to get that 2nd disc to me.

it is v4.62.

I dont think so... There should only be one disc...

I could be wrong though...

reason why I say this is because my 08 RDX has v4.62 and includes 2 discs.

I got 2 discs. Mine is a 08 TSX as well. Call the dealer. My dealer conveniently "forgot" to give me the Navi manual. I had to call him and he mailed it then.

Acura service in Canada from what I hear is not up to par.

I also got 2 disks with my 08 here in Vancouver. the Canada/Northern US disk was in the navi player and the southern US disk came with my manual package. Definitely call your dealer

When my wife and I picked up our '08, she had the foresight to ask if the disk in the car covered the US. It does not (except for the border areas, I think). The salesperson went and got us the USA disk. It seems the dealers 'conviniently' forget to give Canadians the US disk. Ask for it... you are entitled to one.
