question about 6 speed

well i got my car monday and i had to smash once!.....but when i shifted from 1st to 2nd it lik drops down to 4-4.5rpms. why is that?

Well.. lets see.. thats what its suppose to do...

You can get some more rpms and keep it in vtec if you 'power shift' which is essentialy not lifting off the gas when you shift. However this is pretty hard to master and since you just got your car you need to be nice to it.

no my LS integra was faster than this tsx...i cant explain it but if i almost redline and then shift to 2nd the rpm's drop way down and i lose hella power


im not stupid i know how to drive.... i haven't doulbe clutch yet my baby only has 500 miles but i had to hit it once but i was disappointed. 3rd gear is nice though im likin ivtec more than vtec now
