PWP or CG easier to keep looking clean?
I'll be getting an '06 TSX later this year (Nov/Dec) and I'm trying to decide on PWP or CG. Either way, I will be getting the Ebony interior, which I understand will be offered with PWP this year.
Anyway, I have a silver '02 TL now, and I KNOW silver is the easiest color to keep looking clean, but silver just doesn't do anything for me on the TSX (not so far anyway). The PWP and CG CONSTANTLY make me turn my head whenever I see them.
Between the PWP & CG, which one will be easiest to keep looking clean year-round, including winter? I had a black car once, and I will NEVER, EVER get black again, as I'm not happy with my car only looking good for 10 minutes, and can't wash my car more than once/week.
Thanks!!

I'd say PWP for sure... In general, lighter colors are easier to keep clean....the only time which it'll look really dirty is when you have mud and slush on it (which at that point any color will look dirty).... I think besides silver, white is easiest to maintain.
I have a CG myself and it's pretty hard to keep clean, probably second to black......

PWP isn't that hard to keep clean. Dust doesn't stand out too much unless someone drags their finger across it. Mud splashes do stand out more. Still, I've got no complaints.

I got GP and I have to wash it every week. I live near construction and my husband works in the industrial park - soo LOTS OF DUST.
We've had the black (1), white (2), dark grey(2), med-blue (1) vehicles. Between all of them - I find our white vehicles were the ones that looked clean for a longer period of time.
But I got the GP anyways!! LOVE IT!!

PWP is not white, its pearl. It has a yellowish tone to it. It looks pretty white in bright sunlight but gets a nice classy creamy/pearl color at night under lights.

I had a SSM last year and now have a PWP and all I can say is that the SSM is the easiest color to keep clean.
The main problem with PWP is that once it rains the dirt sticks to the panels and make darks drops... I bring my car to the car wash on a weekly basis now vs 1 every 2 weeks for the SSM. I can't talk about CG other than it's a darker color therefore the swirl marks are gonna show more.
Cheers

Second, I have the GP and I love it, too.
Lastly, I have had it over a winter here in Toronto and found that my car was not too bad when there was slush and any dirt. I find that my car was cleaner than the PWP. But that is just my opinion. I think that if you keep your car waxed, you will be good during those winter months. I just got my car waxed over two weeks ago and I still haven't washed it because it doesn't look dirty.

Same with little rust spots form metallic dust that gets imbeded in the clearcoat. No worries if you clay every couple of months.
