Is it possible to recode the master key myself???

The story goes like this. I lost my car keys couple weeks back. Being so frantic that someone will drive my car away I took my car to the dealer, bought a set of master and have them recode the ignition key along with my spares.
Now someone found my keys and return it. The old key itself cannot start the car but the remote still opens the door/trunk.
My question is is it possible for me to recode the key so that I can use that key to start my car again? I just don't want to out to the dealer again and pay some $$$.
Thanks

You have to take it back to the dealer.

i was able to get a key programmed to my car free at a honda dealership, you might try seeing is they can do it for free since they dont have to cut a key or anything.

If it's under warranty, have them "fix it" for free.

How would it be covered under warranty? What kind of reason should I use?
The first time I went in the bill was $120. SO expensive.
I guess i'll give my dealer a call see if it's can be done.

No way you can do it by yourself. Sounds like dealer time...

If you already bought a new set of keys and had the ignition changed, just throw that key away and keep the FOB...........

well you paid $120, go back explain you paid for the service, someone found your keys and you'd like to see if they'll code the old one to the new one. its not likely you're asking for handouts, you already paid $120

Serivce will use the tablet to erase the immobilizer codes from the computer, thus disabling them.

They already took some of your money, hopefully they will do for free.
