Is it possible to re-aim the fog lights?

I have searched and cant find any topics that cover this...so

has anyone aimed the fog lights slightly higher to add the light output of the headlights? I rarely ever drive in foggy conditions, so having them aimed low is of no real benefit to me.

Reason I ask is because I plan on installing DDM HID fogs, but would like to know if this possible before purchasing.

Yea but aiming them is so minor. You need to get a screwdriver and attempt to find the whole that connects to the fog light housing underneath the car.

I gave up on it and just took the fogs out and did it.

I'm still not clear on what you adjust. after you find the hole that connects the Light housing what do you do? Is there a screw you adjust? what actually adjusts, the whole housing? or just the bulb?

So your putting HID fog lights in with the specific intent of blinding the shit out of oncoming traffic? Genius.

No - that is NOT my intent. i want the level of the fog light somewhere in between the level they are now, and below the level of the head lights.

Ah, gotcha. It's going to be a fine line to walk since the fogs are more flood style lights and don't have a very focused cut off.

And hi neighbor!

Yes - I definitely agree that its going to be tricky. The best way i can think of to achieve that height is parking the car 20 feet from a wall, turn the headlights on and adjust the fogs making sure that the light output never breaks the definitive line __/--- from the head lights.

Neighbor indeed! - What part of the burgh?

I live in Etna and work in the North Hills (between Ross Park Mall and Wexford). I've got a Millano Red '04 with parchment interior, completely stock (not for much longer).

Basically the screw hits a crank you need a phillips head, it slow turns the adjustment screw.

i can't find a diagram of it, but its somewhere on the web.

Nothing visible for a while in all likelihood. ECU is going to Hondata on Thursday. I think I'm going to buy the Progress RSB since HeelToe has a special going right now though it won't go in until the weather gets nice enough for me to want to deal with it. I'll probably drop the Comptech Icebox in there this summer and possibly a high flow cat. About the only visible mod I'm looking at is a 50% tint all the way around.
