Is it possible...

Is it possible to rip out the front Acura logo on the grill and just clip on a Honda one? That way the grill fits perfect?

So it wont work? I thought the molding for the 'A' can come off? Then an 'H' molding can be added. I guess it cant be done.

Its just personal tastes. I also believe that Acura should not exist and I always hope for Honda to cancel that name.

Here we go again... another re-badging debate :shakehead

Honda = Acura = Honda

Some people like to re-badge their Acura back to be Honda... it's a preference, I don't have a problem with it. Would I do it to my own TSX? Probably not, coz I am lazy

Anyway, at least that's better than getting a Honda (say Civic) and re-badge it to be an Acura (EL? It exists in )

If the 'A' emblem can be pried off, maybe a 'H' (off an Accord?) could be crazy-glued on? I don't know if there are pegs on the emblem that plug into some holes on the grill... but if there are, shave/cut them off and just glue away

Man everyone picks on the EL...its not that bad. Honda says the next Acura EL will look deferent from the new civic.

JUST LIKE THE 1.6'S DID!!!!!!!!

Or EL might get CANED! But I dont think so. Lots of guys buy EL's because the name Acura and leather makes them feel good.

Well... I am entitled and qualified to "pick on" the EL as we had owned both the 1.6 and the 1.7 ones.

Well, not really picking on it anyway... I like the 1.6 a lot, at least styling wise the 1.7 is another story though, it's quite boring to look at until the recent slight facelift to make it a bit better.

I don't understand the colour availability difference between and either. I couldn't believe that CG (aka GP here) is not available in Canada until '05 !!! Thank goodness I got a CG/GP TSX now

BTW, it seems like they only start deliver CG in Toronto since last month. Also yesterday is my first time seeing ABP on the street and I saw 3 of them in 1 hr!

Wow... takes till April to deliver CG/GP in Toronto? Guess I have taken for granted the somewhat shorter shipping distance to the West Coast

Anyway, I still haven't seen many CG/GP in Greater Van though... probably only 4 or 5 (including mine) spotted so far... on the other hand, PWP is EVERYWHERE!!! ABP is pretty rare to see out here too... PWP is most spotted, then SSM, NHB... I've seen the red one couple of times and now it's not available starting '05... not that I'll miss that colour
