hi i was wondering if its possible for anyone from the new york or new jersey area to post their receipt if you got a good deal... so if u had a good deal plz post ur receipt or proof of the price and what options came with it... with navi or without doesnt matter. but my dealer told me if i can get proof of the price someone paid for it and its lower then theirs then they would beat that price.. so plz help me out.. and yea should i hold out and wait on a 04 navi cz they dont have navi in my dealership anymore.. does anyone knwo the next shipment or is that it for the year? can u scan it for me thanks greatly appreciate it

Hey Dung,
In NJ there is a Acura dealer about every 40 miles or so. Do what I did - go to at least two places and have them compete with each other. When you can't take it anymore, buy at the closer dealer.

This isn't really like Circuit City and Best Buy where they will beat the competors price when you show the receipt. Im pretty sure nobody is going to show you their receipt (maybe it's a personal thing). In my opinion the price isn't as important as the monthly payment (lease payment). In the NJ area, we are generally at $25K for non-navi and $27K for Navi. Being that the 05's are near, I would ask them to go to $24K / $26K and go from there.

E-mail is your friend. E-mail all the Acura dealers in the tri-state area and tell then Internet manager what you want (colors, Nav, etc.) and what you want to pay. They want to get rid of the 04's now, so you will get a lot of responses.

Did you check the Acura website and look for dealers near you?
Most of them list their inventory online, thats how I found my car. Not sure what your zip code is but here a dealer's online inventory from NJ. Bridgewater Acura
You will be more likely to deal better if you can get a car off their lot as opposed to them having to order one for you.
VIN# 958 6MT W/Navi
VIN# 959 6MT W/Non-Navi
VIN# 968 5AT W/Navi
VIN# 969 5AT W/Non-Navi

Ummm, like I said, I got 27100 for a BRAND NEW navi. Are you even reading these other posts????
Why are you setting tomorrow as your deadline when you HAVE to buy a car? You playing right into the dealers hands.

Check on edmunds.com and cars.com for the prices. Edmunds gives a what others are paying price which is between the invoice and MSRP - try to make deal between the two prices. Also, check the incentives button on edmunds.com.

Haste makes waste...dude you need to do a tad more research. Im young too, but dont think the world is going to end if you dont pick up your car right now. There are plenty of dealerships, and plenty of TSX's with them that will offer you a good price.

yea i hope it was broken in right.. it was a car use for test drive so i dont know if it was.. 27350 isnt the final price thats what he quoted me but 2morrow is when the real deal goes down.. sit down with the manager and try to go as low at 26500.. but do u think i can get it for 26,900? it also has a scratch in rhe front right fender but that will b fixed by the dealer.. u think i can use that scratch as a excuse to getit lower...

Jesus christ I10O0I1, whatever happened to, "yeah, you're right, patience is the key..." ?
Even if you could get it for $26.5K, it seems pretty high for a demo with 3K miles on it, don't you think? Furthermore, it has a scratch on the fender. Sure it can be fixed. But, do you really want to buy a $27K car that already had some body work done to it?
Just chill out for a while. Why do you think the car is still available? B/c not too many people are keen on buying a $27K used TSX w/ a scratch on it. TSXs are not rare cars. You can get a good deal on a new one if you are patient.
If you really have your heart set on this one (don't know why you would) don't be shy about throwing out a rock bottom initial offer - like say, $22K. Worse they can do is say no. Also, don't be afraid to walk out the door. Trust me. The car will still be there the next week. They're more likely to lower the price if you demonstrate that you are willing to leave rather than to act like a salivating dog with a piece of meat.
BTW, this advice works great on picking up chicks too.
