Please let me get a TSX!!!

Hey guys

So I've been lurking around this site for a month or so now, and everytime I visit, I grow more and more fond of the TSX and this community (is that what you call it?) You guys are the most interesting community I have ever seen!

I've been really hoping to get a TSX now, every single thing about seems perfect (I just got over the fact that I sold my 92 Accord) and the price is just at the end of my reach. But hopefully, I can walk away with a Arctic Blue, manual, non-navi for not more than 25,000. Do you guys think this is possible? Is there anyone from the Chicagoland area that has purchased or negotiated with a dealer to around this price? (or better yet, INVOICE?)

Thanks for all the advice (not just specifically from this thread) and for making me so envious!!

Skokie eh?
You should be able to talk them down some on the price now...since the TSX has been out for over a year now. There's definately plenty of Acura dealerships around the Chicagoland area that you can talk to

Welcome headphone, enjoy your stay here, though you don't need to have a TSX to feel part of the community.

Good luck with the buy.

wow, i didn't expect so many people to offer me to sell their car! (unless that's a bad thing 'cause you guys aren't happy with yours?) thanks for all the responses. i've been checking prices around the internet, and it seems that people can get one for a few hundred above invoice. guess i gotta work on my negotiating skills.

25k for a new TSX? Good luck, it's highly unlikely that you'll get such a good deal.

Anyways, the reason sauceman's offering to sell his car is because of the excessive mileage he has in his car.

Oh and enjoy the site!

Lol, yeah, anyways, I couldn't get back my equity without offering an awful deal, so I'm not serious. My best hopes would be to get it totalled, stolen or burned in 2½ years. Then that would quite a good deal since my insurance would pay me a brand new car, hehehe.

Yes, it is possible to get it under $25K. I got mine for $24.9K (Includes destination no TTL) on May 1 but shop around at the end of the month.
