Hello there,

I imported a flooded acura tsx 2.4 2006 form USA. I had to replace the ECU and other parts in a local service. In my country ther is no Honda or Acura certified auto service so i just hired a good mechanic.

Unfortunately the navigation system asks for a security code that i don't have and the anti theft red led is blinking.

Does anyone know how and where to find that code or how otherwise to turn on that multimedia\navigation computer system?

open the hood.

locate the fuse box.

shown in the picture below, circled:



take this cover off.

look inside the cover, for a sticker or a couple stickers.

there will be at least two numbers.

one is navigation, one is stereo code.

good luck.

 

Also look for similar stickers on the left outer side of the glovebox when it is open.

 

So that is the code needed to enter into the radio after you install a new battery?

and make sure its the four digit code u enter... not the other six-seven digit one

 

Thank you guys for the information you posted, but unfortunately there where no stickers neither in the fuse box nor in the glovebox.

Is there some other way to find out this security code?

 

The suggested location from the previous post is not the factory assigned (default) location where the code can be found. It's up to each dealer where to place the code, although those might be the common choices. Mine is inside the owner's manual. You might try contacting a dealer in the U.S and provide the VIN and proof of ownership.
