Palm Treo 700wx bluetooth question??

Is there anyone on here that has a treo 700wx thru verizon and know if it will sync up to the bluetooth in an 06 TSX? I looked on the site and its being currently tested. It seems that majority of the treo's work well but Im not sure about this one. I really wanted to get the XV6700 because it has the built in wi-fi but it doesnt sync up with our bluetooth

I can almost guarantee it'll work. My girlfriend's LG VX9800 from verizon was also "currently being tested" and it worked perfectly in my car.

I have a Treo 680 Cingular which would be similar to the 700. It actually works well. But it is not perfect at all as my bluetooth connection would sometimes be lost after a minute or two of conversation. This does not happen all the time so, all in all, my usage has been good. FYI, I have the Palm OS which would have the Wired Car software.

I have the 700wx also through verizon and it works perfect! You'll notice though, however, I have an 07 tl-s. I'm sure the software is about the same. Good luck

aright well now I got everyone and their mother telling me to go with the 700p instead of the 700wx because the windows OS is pretty clunky compared to the palm OS...I know this is kinda straying away from my original question but is there anyone out there that would know the in depth differences between the 2...Im more or less just looking to see which one will have an easier interface as Im not to tech savy...one thing thats got me leaning towards the 700wx is the fact that it has windows media player 10.0

I'm using a Treo 700P and it works just fine with my '06 TSX.

And yes, get the Palm OS instead of the Windows Mobile on the Treo, especially if you're not tech savvy.

SimpleScion, one of the main differences you will notice is that an action that takes one to two inputs on a PALM OS, takes about five on the Windows. For example, someone new (not in your contacts) calls you, and you want to add them to your contacts. Easy on the PALM, not on the Windows.

I had a Verizon Motorola Q, and it was a bitch trying to get the thing to vibrate instead of ring. The TREO has a nice switch on the top. If you can hold out, the Verizon 755P (no stupid antennae) will be out within a month. Sprint has this model already available, but Sprint coverage is as spotty as a leper.

I hate to bring up a dead thread...

I just found out I can get Alltel at a discount through work. (been here 2 years )

I am interested in the Treo 700wx and checked the HFL website and it looks like the phone is compatible with Verizon (current provider) but not Alltel.

Does this make sense?

hmm...if the phone is identical but just different services I dont see why it shouldnt work. The only problem I see is the Treo isnt a throw away phone where you can check to see if it would work...its pretty pricey to take that risk

Does anyone know how to integrate my Palm Treo 700w to the bluetooth feature in my car? Someone stole my car manual.

Pulled this off the HFL site
