Paint mark on brake caliper

After getting the car back from the dealer (oil change), I gave my vehicle a once-over to make sure nobody put a dent anywhere that I can see or lose any air caps or forgot to screw any caps back on....

During my inspection, I looked at my wheels and noticed a paint mark on the front brake caliper. It was a line mark. I have it on both sides. The service consultant told me that it was a visual inspection mark when the vehicle came off the assembly to make sure something was lined up (I wasn't listening because I was trying to rack my brain in trying to remember if I saw that when I first got my car.

Before I have to go through my archives (as I remember taking lots of pics of my vehicle when I first got it for the first week), I'd like to know if anyone know or think that this is normal?

There are a lot of little paint marks under the hood on various components. What the consultant was telling you makes sense.

The dealer freshly marked mine after a rotor resurface and not sure why. I do the same drive-off checks.
