I recently had the PA11-Hon2y installed in my car and works great except everytime i connect my ipod my settings get reset so that my "shuffle songs" and "repeat songs" is no longer selected. Has anyone else encountered this? How can I fix it?

I have encountered the same problem but I don't know if there is a fix for it.

well i really hope thats not the case because its driving me nuts to the point where I'm using it less and less. I hate that resets my "shuffle songs" to "no shuffle"

same problem...You accidentally pressed one of the buttons on your dash/stereo that changes the shuffle setting. it might be the rwd or the ffwd button (try different buttons), press it, and it should say on the stereo screen "shuffle on"/"shuffle off". it totally pissed me off for over a month.

If i do that will it stay "shuffle on" permenantly and will it stop resetting my ipod settings on my ipod. Everytime I disconnect my ipod i have to go through and reset the settings for when i play it at home or work--ANNOYING!

Yeah I agree its annoying. I have learned to immediately change it to shuffle... I hope above posters solution works. I will let you know
