Over 100,000 miles

Hi. I'm fairly new to Acurazine, and I bought my first TSX two weeks ago. It is a 2004 SSM/Ebony/Navi. I got a great deal on it but it has a significant amount of miles. 130,000. Does anyone else have a tsx with high miles that have had any problems that I should be looking out for?

Hitting pretty close to 100,000 miles
at 97,000 miles.

Just make sure you do the honda atf tranmission fluid and flush.
Maybe change out the spark plugs if they haven't
Coolant lines might need to take a look at mine are pretty much crap replacing them this week. As well as flushing the junky fluid.
check the belts and pulleys
Hopefully none of the o2 sensors failed.

Other than that should be fine as maintenance wise.

We don't have a timing belt we actually have a timing chain.

Just drive it and change the engine oil every 5000 miles. Nothing else. Seriously!

Just follow the recommended maintenance schedule and you should be fine. Not aware of any problems specifically attributable to high mileage. If you review the Problems & Fixes subforum you'll see that there have been some A/C issues, display issues, etc. but they're not limited to high mileage vehicles.

I was told it needs to be replaced around 120,000.

I'd make sure that it has been replaced, and if not...do it SOON.

im pretty sure you never need to replace chains. they only need to be adjusted, but thats only when your timing is off/related problems.

101K here. Not a single problem. Just changed the spark plugs at 95K. I've done just the basics:

Coolant
oil
tranny fluid
brake fluid

i would only buy a car with that many miles if i wanted to make it my beater car.

I payed $10,500. I was unsure about it at first, but it is still in really good condition, and it only had 1 previous owner. So I went for it.
