Outside temperature not accurate anymore.

I have an 06 TSX that had a very accurate outside temperature display. The other day the battery died and when I got the car started, my memory settings had to be reset. When I did this, I notice my outside temperature was way off. More than the adjustment allowed by the computer. It seems as if it won't display over 79 degrees. Anyone else have this problem? I am under warranty but wanted to know if there is an easy fix before taken it.

Did you drive it around so it wasn't getting ambient temperature soaked by the engine or the road temperature?

I have the same problem...during the heat wave week here in Cal. My air temp. reading was max out at 77 degree, but out side air temp was at 98 degree. I tried to set the temp. but it would not go pass 77 degree. Then i took the dealer they replace it with the new ambient air sensor. Done deal. My car is a 05 auto. with 46000 miles on it...good luck.

Thanks, that is exactly how mine worked. It was 92 here and the highest mine would read is 78. Even after driving for an hour. Looks like I have to make a trip to the dealer.
