Official 0-60
You mean first hand accounts of actual times matter less than numbers from some brochure?
Plus, what would constitute official numbers cause Acura/Honda rarely publish any numbers? And even if they do publish one, you can't be sure it wasn't some typo or other error (like the discrepancy between 04 and 05 MPG figures)

I would agree with the 7.2 0-60 as I have seen similar numbers and I think sauceman has too.
Seldom do car companies give an "official" 0-60 time for legal reasons. They don't want to be sued if a) someone kills themselves or breaks a law trying to verify that number b) someone in Alaska on snow tires couldn't replicate that number at -30 and on ice.
There was a WRX ad on TV that said "0-60 in 5.8 seconds -- Car & Driver" hence shifting the blame to another company while still reaping the rewards.

No need to bring a 3 1/2 year old thread back from the dead to say

I was wondering what the 04-08 0-60 time was, the 2nd gen 0-60 time thread quotes that the '09 6MT is a bit faster at 7.6. This post suggests that's not the case. Maybe when Car & Driver tests it the matter will be settled.
