Not a single one!

I just returned from Paris and Bruxelles. No new Accord... I thought that it was selling good in Europe?

At the same time, 20-25% of Paris cabs are new E-Class and Golf V are everywhere.

You just didn't look hard enough. They are there - but don't expect them to be everywhere like you see the USDM Accord in the US.

I'd venture to guess that the French made cars make up a great majority of cars in Paris - you just notice things that stand out.

Yuu can bet on that I looked very closely. I saw about 10 Mazda6, but not Accord 2003+.

I'll agree with you there. I've spent over 8 weeks in Europe (Bruxelles, Amsterdaam, Eindhoven, Antwerpen) last year and have seen 2 Honda Euro Accords. There are not that many over there period. As a matter of fact, the hotel I stayed at for over 3 weeks one time was right next to a shop that mods cars. Mostly VW, BMW, and if you can believe this...Hyundai

This year I'm scheduled for another 12 weeks in Europe. I'll keep looking.

BTW, first post...long time lurker. I just don't have anything new to say...I use the search option heavily. Thanks to all on this board for their help, this site is great.

Peace and a Happy New Year

They are out there - I was in Paris for just two days last month and saw two of them. Also, you might not realize you are seeing one when they are disguised as a wagon - popular choice with the soccer moms.

Hey Biker,

Good point on the wagons. I just never even thought 'bout it. I be on the look out a little closer. I gonna spend a week in Norway as well...we will see if the those crazy scandinavians roll with Honda as well.

Peace

In the EU, there are significant tax breaks if I'm not mistaken for buying domestic, or quasi-domestic (other EU countries), cars. It encourages strengthening of the continental economy, so that explains the relative dearth of Euro Accords.

On the other hand, in Israel, the new Accords are dime-a-dozen...tons of people have the car, and they are nearly all the base models (or close to it)

I'm willing to bet we purchase more TSX's in the US then Euro/JDM-Accords are sold in the remainder of the world.

I've chatted a time or two with folks in the UK about the rarity of Accords compared to here--it is apperent. Go to other Honda sites and look for certified used--it's a small-small list.

It's funny we call the TSX the Euro Accord, maybe we should call the Euro-Accord the EU-JDM TSX :P
