been reviewing this site and it's excellent. lately I've been shopping for a car and fell on the TSX. but, reading all the problems with rattles etc., kind of worrys me. I'll heed your advise, any reqs or should I shop elsewhere

but . . . jeesh, it looks great in all the colors and the cluster is really cool too. anyhow . . .

 

I'm not the first to say this, but one of the dangers of coming to a board like this is that people with problems tend to be the loudest. Check the board for almost any car and you'll see problem after problem.

A TSX? Rattles. A G35? Needs brakes every 10K miles. I'd hate to check the boards for Kia!

Search deeper and you'll find many more people who have little or no complaints.

undersood, mcourt83 I totally agree and thanks for the quick reply. just that it was kind of strange because when I took a test drive . . . and as I fell in love with the fit and finish, cluster etc . . . heard an annoying rattle coming from the dash over bumps. anyhow, I'm going for it because the car is exactly what I'm looking for, and the tech would have no problem disgnosing this particular problem.

 

I now have 9800 miles on my car and my rattles have disappated, can't seem to duplicate them now. I am very happy with the car.

 

im nearing 5000 miles and i no longer hear rattles either.
My rattles were only from the music system i adjusted some settings and bamm the rattles have went away.
Otherwise i love this car, 2 months later and i still love driving it every morning to work.

My car has 9700 miles on it and nothing whatsoever has gone wrong.

The biggest concern over the past 6 months over the TSX has been rattles...I would say thats actually not too bad. I think most of the members have got the situation under control.
