Arent these very old adds? I've see the Kite, ive seen the fish.
Where are the new (or, more importantly, as abovementioned 'terrific') ads? Not only are these ones old, but they are just simply too low level for a 'luxury brand'.

'12 TL (prev '04 TSX 6MT)
I saw the fish one on tv last night.. I think the first time I had seen the whole thing. I wasn't all that impressed. If anything, I'd rather see the TSX compared to a quick moving shark or dolphin (or fighter jet) than a tropical fish (or kite).

If I were to make a TSX commercial... it would be me driving around LA doing all kinds of crazy spinouts and flying over hills and stuff. finally I do a 90deg spin in the middle of the street, a girl's head pops out of my lap and the Acura logo comes on the screen.

Want a luxury theme? What ever happened to those cool TL and CL ads Acura had not too long ago? They were fresh and had a modern luxury feel. Do you guys remember them--Key Largo, Palm Springs, and the New Orleans one? Or how about the blind date one where the guy drives his TL-S to San Francisco from LA--just for dinner?Look on the bright side, too...we could have Mercedes' cheesy commercials that are supposed to be funny.
I think Acura has the right idea w/ their advertisements so far--they all follow the same theme. You don't have a funny commercial and then a serious one, and then a gimmicky one...they're all pretty classy.So here's my idea: let's have a series of TV ads. Each ad has nice fast-paced modern jazz w/ just footage of people driving Acuras in fitting places for their vehicles--the TSX can be driving on a twisty road along the California coast, the RL driving through downtown San Francisco (financial district), MDX through the Redwood forest, etc... Mix in interior shots of the people driving and enjoying their time and the usual exterior shots. No dialog at all. Have each one end with, "This moment of luxury was brought to you by the ____hp Acura _____...Acura--precision crafted performance"
Now that is what I would do...

I don't s'pose you know where to find the canyon ad? I've downloaded the other two. The fish ad ends with a TSX driving in the southwest - could look like a canyon.

i still haven't seen any new Tsx commercials, the last one was i ever saw was the fish tank one. will they put any new ones out soon?
here is my pet peeve, u know another reason why lexus is beating acura is cause they have more commercials on tv than them!
i see too many honda commercials tauting the accord, civic, or element, but hardly no acura ones except that played out TL one and one for the Mdx, but that's it. putting on the tv last nite i saw an accord commercial with the lady driving with the sunroof open picking up her spouse who drove the plane and the dumb president's day one with the nutcase.

There is a new TSX TV commerical, but it might only be shown in Canada , not sure. Actually its been on for the past couple of months. It shows a TSX being chased around european streets. At the end it stops and a cat gets out, and a dog gets out of the car chasing him. Then it says , "The all new 200 hp Acura TSX; the perfect getaway car".

Which manufacturer do you guys think makes the best car ads?
I hate to admit it, but most of the BMW ads seem right on the mark.
The Ford GT commercial is well done also.

Have any of you seen the Toyota Tundra(i think) ad? The one where the girlfriend is jealous of her bf's truck and has someone push the truck off the cliff and it does about 5 flips, hits the side of the cliff, then lands on 4 wheels? I thought it was pretty cool.

I liked the VW ads for Passat. "It only looks like a million dollars". They made me laugh out loud.
Then there's the Toureg ad "Does what other VW's don't" and it turns out that the Toureg doesn't either (towing the big Airstream trailer). Bwahaha.
There's a really funny one for a Ford Sportka where it takes out a bird with a well-timed pop of the hood. See it here:

Well, I found this the other day. Has many if not all the recent Honda and Acura ads. It's the advertising company that AHM employs, I think. (unfortunately, don't see TSX ads there)

There was a new TSX ad that aired during the superbowl. It was of the TSX zipping around an old italian or european town. The ad was fantastic. I can't believe nobody saw it or remembered it.
Then again, I could have been hallucinating but i'm 99% sure it was for the tsx and not the TL. actually I take it back, i'm 100% sure. Was nobody watching the game?

Looking at that commercial, it no ways inspires me to buy a TSX. Hey Acura, if you need any advice on how to make better commercials, maybe ask the current TSX owners for some advice or better still visit this site for some suggestions.

they should make a metamorphosis Tsx commercial meaning they should put an Accord sedan in the first part and then do a before after, the after being the Accord sedan goes through a makeover and out comes as the Tsx. You know like a weight loss commercial.
