New TSX review, from the guys who hate EVERYTHING...
My first thought when I saw this review was "Uh oh!", because these guys trash almost every car they ever review:

I know this is off the topic slightly, but looking further around their website at other reviews I almost laughed out loud at work on the comment they made about the new Acura MDX grill.
"Two dimpled metal chevrons frame the Acura logo. Up close, they appear surprisingly like ornamental cheese graters. From a distance, they make the MDX front end look like the head of a giant Remington MicroScreen electric shaver – ready to trim unsightly hair from America’s highways."
I wonder if the next generation TSX will have a cheese grater / electric shaver nose, or something closer to the RDX. (btw. that was my tie in to the tsx, and to stay on topic !)

There's plenty of TS at 4K+ in first and second gear.
Mind you, as mine's '03, things may have changed with the '06 facelift models.

An 03? Very rare. Nice.

The guys at TTAC have a tendency to lean (actually, fall off a thousand foot ledge) towards overstatement (try any article by Farago or Mehta). This writer, McCombs must be new there, as I've never seen him there until now. He doesn't have the sometimes painfully annoying "proclivity" (yet) like most of the other writers there to bend over backwards (and up and down and all around) trying to be at the cutting edge of creative, funny, snarky, contraversial, and wordsmithy literary geniuses.

Of course, if you're drag-racing, the low-end torque becomes more of an issue, but still....

I can't believe that some folks on this thread actually think that the "truthaboutcars" is a worthy car enthusiast website. I've been following some of their reviews for quite sometime and their trend is to bash most cars for no real, worthy reason, with the cavaet being that when they do "approve" of a car, everyone exclaims "well, if THEY liked it, then it must be good".
Take instead the example of Clarkson on TG. Yes, he bashes on perfectly engineered vehicles sometimes, but not without reason. The Cayenne IS ugly, and some of the "nicer" cars on there do lack character. But at the same time he can appreciate a good vehicle and extoll its virtues. Except in the case of American cars where he hate s them all
A true car enthusiast must be able to appreciate the good in any well engineered automobile. Instead, these guys on the truthaboutcars seem to bash on perfectly fine vehicles in order to gain some sort of "badass/hard to please rep". Thats
