New policy? No loaners for customers under 25?!
I just went to South Coast Acura again to fix a side panel that was coming off and the green light they forgot to reconnect when replacing my radio unit and those bastards wouldn't give me a loaner car anymore. What sucks is that I've received their loaner cars twice already and they didn't care about my age before. Instead, they sent me to the local hertz and now im driving around a 04 chevy impala around for the day. Has anyone else under 25 experienced this craziness? Shouldn't you be entitled to a loaner car no matter how old you are? I'm 22 but i still gotta get to work...... grrr......
Side comment on the impala:
i got the 04 with only 4000 miles on it. Haven't checked under the hood to see if it's the 3.6 or 3.8 engine. The impala's horrible! It's worse than my friend's hyundai xg! The car handles like a boat and the V6 I got feels slower than our I4! w00t w00t for tsx. MUCH better than an impala.

taewlee, try Tustin Acura, they gave me a loaner car with unlimited miles just have to stay within cali, heck they didnt even have me sign anything, just tossed me the key and i was gone. from what i've read on many posts, South Coast Acura has a lot of strict rules here and there

If my dealer refused to give me a loaner I'd lose it on them! I'm old enough for them to take my money but I'm not old enough to recieve the same treatment as other owners??? I just want to see them try to pull that shit on me!

It may just have been that they didn't have one of their loaners available at the time. I ran into the same problem with my local dealer a couple of times. They usually just contract out to the local Enterprise Rent-A-Car when they run out of loaners. Plus, I usually call in in advance to schedule a loaner if I know I'm gonna need one.
