Hey guys,

Just picked up a (new) 04 TSX. Got it from my sister. Long story short, she's looking for a van for her family so I convinced her to sell it to me for pretty cheap. It's an 04 TSX in white; I think it's called Premium White or something like that. Been lurking on this forum for awhile but never really had a reason to post (other than the regional area) since I didn't own an Acura. Now since I do, I can't wait to get started on it. It's mainly for the wife as her "luxery" car so just wanted to get some ideas and what not. So it's an 04 with around 140K ish on it. Not too bad and the car has been maintained very well. Aside from the exterior (just needs a good detail and minor parts) it's a very good looking car. Struts/shocks were replaced 5K ago and has brand new Bridgestones (on stock wheels). Is there anything I need to look out for or change out? I haven't done too much research on the car so I don't really know the in's and out's of it per say.

So far, I've ordered:

Yellow Fogs
Clear/blackhoused headlights
"JDM" style fron grill with H emblem
(bought the grill and headlights from ebay because my sister backed up into it and broke the grill and both headlights; and they were fogged up anyway) anyone have any experience with the ebay headlights?
New bumper

I'm still searching for a front lip. Probably the A-SPEC one since that's the only one that looks decent; if anyone has one for sale, let me know!

Looking at getting some s-techs since she just wants to eliminate the wheel gap. Anyone know if the S-Techs from the TL fit the TSX?

And I will be slapping on my TL-S wheels on her car until i find wheels.

Nice pickup, I always liked the white ones. I picked up an 06 less than a year ago myself. I immediately changed out the:

Oil
Trans Fluid
Spark Plugs
Cabin Air filter

So I would check those first off - these cars seem to last forever if general maintenance is kept up. Also, jealous on the type S wheels, I want a set for winter wheels but everyone in my area wants half of a soul for a set

All the maintenance you mentioned; Oil was done around 4K ago; Trans fluid was done maybe 6K ago as well as the spark plugs. Not too sure about the cabin filter. I'll have to double check that.

Yeah. the TL-S wheels are pretty nice. I bought them like, 4 years ago brand new from the dealer for my accord and I've had them ever since. They're a hot commodity. Hopefully the springs from my buddy's TL will fit so I can get them for pretty cheap.

Do you or anyone else for that matter, happen to know if the oem front lips are still being made? I know on heel toe they are there, but not sure if it's in stock. Plus, I'd rather just pick it up from the dealer or someone local.

Oh and btw: anyone know why the fogs won't work? I bought the kit from k2motors. It's wired up correctly (found some threads online) and did what they said. It's fuse taped with the wiper fluid fuse and i even changed out the relay with a brand new one. But no joy. The switch button lights up but not the fogs?
