New Navi to video integration unit by IconTv
Noticed this in the Nov 2005 Car Audio & Electronics magazine. The navi screen and dash is a TSX in the ad. The say its a complete plug and play system, but no info yet on thier website. Just wondering if anyone else knows about this unit's details.
I already have the AV-Electronics unit, waiting to install, I just dont like that ugly cheap remote control it comes with.

I'll agree that Icon products are expensive. But their screens are better quality than some of the other screens out there on the market. Personally I use Alpine and Sony screens. All the others were junk, Icon was the next closest thing as far as quality, but much cheaper than Alpine and Sony.
Their dvd players are cheap and made the same as Pyle, but they work better and read more discs than my Alpine, Sony, Pioneer, or Panasonic so I cant knock that.
Im willing to pay more for a true plug and play system, unlike Dom's unit. The AV Electronics unit is the only plug and play so far, but the remote control looks really cheap. If the Icon unit is truely plug and play with its own harnesses and has a decent remote control I'll gladly sell my AV Electronics unit.

bahhh it's been 6 months and I don't see no "Plug-n-Play Integration" shit.
They either stole or photochoped that ad picture.
Another BS company in a BS hellhole (Long Island City )
3 "registered users" on their board

Seems like thier production is slow compared to thier hype.
I would doubt they're a BS company since they have several products on the market that have won quite a few consecutive "product of the year" awards. I watched this company from the start and their product was pricy, but very good quality so far. Also I would doubt they are BS-ing us with advertisements in 2-4 car audio magazines each month since last year. Then again there was Eibach and thier Pro-System advertising for a year. We'll see, until then I have my AV Electronics unit in and working.
