New car - How do I get the LEV sticker off?

I brought home the car today and started by taking off the "Roadside assistance" sticker on the driver's side window. Easy enough. Then I figured, "why not take the LEV sticker as well?" How hard can that be? Apparently pretty hard, because the darn thing keeps peeling off in chunks and now it looks all chewed up, and in the areas where I took off the sticker, there is a residual outline where it used to be. Any tips for residue-free removal of window stickers?

any hardware store or even supermarket has products call goof off or oops, it's a solvent wont hurt the glass. Keep it off the paint and vinyl though. it will take off the residue. Just used it today, I had put one of those small round wide angle things on my driver's mirror, didn't like it. When I popped it off there was a huge chunk of the double sided tape left, the goof off took it off.

At my work, we use goo-gone to take off sticker residue from books...works pretty well.

Just don't get any of those solvents remotely near your trim or paint. They are POTENT. Goof-off disolves anything!

I took my car to get tinted ~5 days after I bought it and I was meaning to take the stickers off, but the tint shop must have had to remove them so it was all kosher.

A shot of WD-40 will work just as well if you don't want to go buy a special solvent for this tiny sticker.

Spray WD-40 on paper towel... put over residue and hold for a sec to let it saturate... wipe away. Use Windex or w/e to wipe away the WD-40 or Goof-Off or Goo-Gone film (what is left over, if anything).
