Ok I got a cam similar to wendy cam I think. I attached positive and negative to the camera and it lights up so its getting power. However the video dosent show up. My old camera had an S-video type connector inline. type connector-the new one dosent just straight RCA jack.

The car has an expensive module that allows me to splice in video to the display. (2 source video input) Do I no longer need this mopdule?

Had to change around things a wee bit and had a bad connection elsewhere. I'm all set.
