New to AcuraZine forum

Hey all,

I have been reading and browsing around for some time now and finally decided register and introduce myself to the nice folks here.
I leased my 08 Carbon Grey Pearl with Ebony interior last month and already have around 2,500 miles on it.
My previous vehicle was a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe which had to be returned to the bank after the lease was up. I wanted to stay in the 30k-35k price range while shopping for my next ride and TSX seemed to be an optimal car for the money.
Infiniti needs to borrow from Acura in terms of cool techy gadgets which came standard on the TSX and were not even offered on the G35.
The gas mileage is excellent compared to what I used to get on the G, which is really nice granted my commute is 100 miles to and from work.

I am looking to become a contributing member of this community and though I have no plans on modding the car (since it is leased) I am already getting some ideas for minor enhancements

one question: don't you miss or you must really feel the loss of power coming from a VQ 3.5 V6 to a 2.4 i-VTEC I4 right?

well, for me i'm looking to go to Infiniti from Acura once I get a lot of problems from the TSX. i'm going to look at the G35x and EX35.

I do miss the power in stop and go traffic and particularly from a dead stop youd really feel the difference. I wanted to jump into a G37 which is awesome but the dealers want to literally rape you over the MSRP.

First off welcome! I bet you miss the power i was looking into a G37 as well but your right, they are literally making a killing on those right now, no one is moving on price at all. the best i got was a dealership that was giving $500-$750 off MSRP price which is good, but its still costs like $41k with the features.

The TSX is a great handling car, enjoy it though!

Thanks for the welcome jwood

TSX is the ultimate commuter car...the handling did surprise me at first, its very zippy for a sedan. What really sold me though ultimately was the MPG

welcome! how much mileage are you allowed on your lease. The main reason I did not even consider a lease was I average 30,000+ miles a year.

at the rate you are driving you will get to drive it 4 months out of the year. how much over in miles were you when you turned in your 04. did they penalize you much.

just a side note; when quoting, please don't include the pictures from the quote unless what you have to say about the quote directly applies to the picture(s).

i guess it's not crucial or anything, but it does clutter up the forum.

and maybe it's just me. perhaps others don't feel the same as i do

Nice, just be careful about spending too much time here, or else you will not want to keep your car stock! lol

That is for sure...after my last car I swore to myself that I will leave this car 100% stock since it's leased. While spending some time here, I already found myself wanting to get the pedals, tinted windows, trunk lid lip spoiler and mud guards
