Sorry for the long post, but I’m bored at work haha and thought I’d check in. Anyway I’ve been driving a new 07 TSX for about a week now, and here are some of my first impressions of the car. The car is absolutely amazing! It has everything I could ever want and more. I know a lot of people on here complain that it lacks power, but at 205hp I feel that I have more than enough. Cruising on the Jersey turnpike the other day at 90mph I couldn’t hear a thing, and the car felt soooo smooth. I bought the car for its very nice interior and fun to drive 6speed. Not to mention all the extra goodies (Bluetooth, hid etc). I was originally looking at the new altima, a4, 3 series and saab 9-3, as well as the Honda family cars. I chose the TSX because it was the best deal for the money, and I felt I connected to it the most while driving. I looked at the TL, but I honestly think the TSX is a much sleeker car, with all the same features save the 6cyl engine. I am a young professional, and I think the TSX suits me well. It’s not too flashy, but I can still drive clients & friends around comfortably. I think that it’s as luxurious as a Beemer, but without the blatant snobbiness factor. The funny thing about it is, people think I’m loaded for driving it, but then I tell them what I paid and they are amazed at how low it is. As for the future I don’t plan on modding the car at all, except for some slight tint. I think the great thing about this car is that it can be modded, or left alone and it still look great. It fits a diverse market segment in that respect, it’s a shame Acura doesn’t push it more in the US. Anyways thanks for the forums, you guys helped me make the right choice!

 

Welcome to the forum!! You can't ask for a better car for the money. You are right about the car only needs a little tint (maybe improved tires) and it looks better than 90% of the cars on the road. If you change you mind, check out the photo gallery to see the possibilities for a CGP TSX.
