They are not that hard to do alone, there a few DIY threads on them here. If you get no help offers here and really are mechanically challenged, take it to a shop.

As I told him before, we have install meets in the DC area every month or so, and we could likely organize a mini meet for a few weeks out. I'd be happy to meet up and help. I haven't done the short shifter myself (since I've got an AT), but I've done my own sway bar and helped on another. Short shifter doesn't look too hard either.

I cannot do it the weekend of the 10 because of MSF class. The weekend right after that is perfect for me
